A quick helicopter tour to land at Kala Patthar to see Mount Everest, Everest Base Camp, and Khumbu Glacier up close is a perfect getaway for those who really want to see Everest, but do not wish to walk eight days for it. Also, as you will only be exposed to high altitude for a very limited time, the altitude related risks are also very limited on this tour.
It is ideal for families who do not wish to risk the rigors of high altitude trekking, and those that are pressed for time. Even for those who have walked this route, this tour can give a completely different bird's eye perspective of the Everest Region.
