Short Treks in the Everest Region

Namche Bazaar

Everest conjures up images of challenging and long high-altitude treks that are suitable only for adrenaline junkies. However, nothing could be further from the truth. There are many short treks in Everest for those who only have a week and don’t want to risk the rigors of high altitudes.

These treks are ideal for children, families, and older adults because they are easy, comfortable, and can be done by first-time trekkers. Here is a shortlist of short treks in the Everest region:

Namche Trek – 5 Days

Namche Trek helps travelers experience the best of Everest in a short time. In five days, you will land at the world’s most dangerous airport, cross at least a dozen long ass bridges across the Dudh Koshi, and see Mount Everest. Along the way, you will also pass through beautiful villages, monasteries, and hopefully, the iridescent Himalaya Monal.
