DESCRIPTION Edit

Best Time to Go: Anytime except for July-August Entry Point: Lukla/ Flight from Kathmandu Exit Point: Lukla/Flight to Kathmandu

Trail condition: This is a short and comparatively easy trek in the Everest Region in which you will pass through the Sherpa capital of Namche to Tengboche. The entire trail is well maintained and easy to follow.

Accommodation: During the trip you will stay in Sherpa lodges with great facilities and warm hospitality. Most of the lodges are equipped with WiFi, hot shower and extensive food menu. However, finding lodges during peak season (October) can be challenging if you don’t book in advance.

Risks: Since the trek revolves in lower region of Khumbu, AMS is not a major issue in this trek. However, for initial acclimatization a rest day in Namche is recommended.

Route Variations: A side trip to the Khumjung and Khunde villages is highly recommended during the rest day at Namche. Past Tengboche it is possible to avoid returning the same route by passing through Pangboche and Phortse. However, it will cost you an extra day.

Notes: Please note that this is a self-guided trek. Hence, you can customize this trek to your preference. Feel free to add lodges, side trips and sightings to your liking. So, what are you waiting for?
