A powerful earthquake — the country's worst in 80 years — rocked mountainous Nepal on Saturday, killing more than 1500 people and leveling buildings and centuries-old temples. Dozens if not hundreds remained trapped under mounds of rubble.
An earthquake with magnitude 7.8 occurred near Lamjung, Nepal at 06:11:26 UTC and 11:56 A.M. NST on April 25, 2015. Since then, the aftershock and the secondary shockwave are frequently felt throughout the country.
