Trail condition: The trails are well defined and clearly marked, sometimes with an asphalt road!!
Accommodation: There are lodges throughout the route: Some might say more than is actually necessary. Other than the peak trekking season in October, July-August is also a busy time in this part of the Himalayas because of the Hindu devotees.
Risks: AMS can be an issue especially if a person is driving directly to Muktinath from Beni. Proper acclimatization is necessary, diamox is not.
Route Variations: After visiting the Muktinath Area, it is possible to return via the quieter route of Jhong as is suggested in the itinerary. It is also possible to return through the hidden and picturesque Bonp village of Lubra.
