THAMO - Small village

    Thamo is a small village located southeast of Thame. The village is collection of old stone houses surrounding the ruins of the old Khumbu Hydroelectric plan which was brought down by the dreadful glacial lake outburst in 1985. While this dark incident faded with time, the smile came back in local faces which makes Thamo an ideal place for a short tea stop.
