TATOPANI - Jacuzzi and Beer

  • 1,220 meters

Tatopani!! Oh, Tatopani!!! This village or more like a town now has built a legend around its hot water spring. And it will not disappoint. After weeks on the trail, it sure is a pleasure to take off your sweat and grime and dip into the warm embrace of Tatopani. Add a few beers and there you have it, an evening well spent. However, please make sure to take a shower before you jump into the main pool and also no skinny dipping, please.

Also, buses run from here to Beni and from there buses and microbuses run to both Pokhara and Kathmandu. If you are planning to return to Kathmandu, you might want to get to Beni before 11am as that is when the last microbus for Kathmandu leaves.

Anywho, enough of logistics and planning and looking ahead. We really hope that you had a wonderful trek. Let's take some time to look back and reflect on what we saw and didn't see. Let's take some time to appreciate how lucky we were to complete one of the world's greatest treks. Let's take some time to make a promise that despite the hurts and disappointments whatever they may be, we will keep exploring with an open mind. Here is to a wonderful journey that has only just begun. Adios!!
