Tukuche Ri 6920m

Tukuche Ri belongs to the Dhaulagiri family and is located in the "Hidden Valley" and can be considered the right hand man of Dhaulagiri. "Hidden Valley" was first coined and witnessed by the team of Maurice Herzog during their reconnaissance before the famous climb of Annapurna I. Tukuche Ri is one of the most exotic mountain climb and the expedition is considered one of the best climbing expedition of Nepal as the summit offers the great vistas of the surrounding himalayas. Perhaps the tempting view from the top motivated a Swiss team in 1969 who are considered the first successful climbers of the peak.
