Nepal house martin is a common bird that has blue-black upperparts with contrasting white rump. It is distinguished from its close relatives such as Asian House Martin by its black throat and black under tail. These birds flock together and feed in large groups by catching flies and other insects in flights. This bird builds its nest out of a mud bowl lined with grasses and feathers. The locations of these nest vary from vertical cliff to tree tops.
