Phurte is a destination in the Everest region of Nepal, at 3,500 m. HoneyGuide lists 59 sightings here.
Phurte is the first settlement after Namche or lasts before depending on which way you started this journey. It is a beautiful village which also has a forestry nursery for Everest Conservation Area Program. It is a regular sherpa village with few rest houses and a stupa.

There is a well sited white stupa at the end of the village called Laudo, which is a small stupa established by Kopan Monastery of Kathmandu in 1970 AD.
