First of all, this insect does not stay true to its name. Four large rings can be seen along the edges of the under wings contrasting against a wrinkly brown wing. This lower side of its wings is covered with lines of brown streaks. The upper side, on the other hand, is seen with two rings, one at the apex and one at the bottom, on each side of their wings.
