The amazing fact about this plant that you won't believe is that this herb is heavily inspired by the song "Eye of the Tiger - The Survivor" as it has gathered up the courage to flourish even in poor soil mixture of sand or gravel. Its leaves (2 - 7 cm) are in oval shape having reticulate veins. The flowers are colored in pink or purple with white or pale yellow centers whose stalks are longer than the leaves. One amazing fact about this plant is that its seed can live in the soil for up to 50 years before germinating. The stem of this plant is used as a twine for its high strength and elasticity.
