    Sallung is a small settlement one will come across on this trip. This is a logical resting spot in terms of distance, though most travelers seem to stop over at Phurteng for the view. A few houses, one lodge, and some livestock make Sallung brighter than the sun with a heart full of smile. The village sits covered in prayer flags and paintings right below a nose dropping steep rock. Almost making you wonder, how the hell did it get there??
