PHURTE - Tea house

    Phurte is the first settlement after Namche or lasts before depending on which way you started this journey. It is a beautiful village which also has a forestry nursery for Everest Conservation Area Program. It is a regular sherpa village with few rest houses and a stupa. “Yes, it has to be the Stupa” There is a well sited white stupa at the end of the village called Laudo, which is a small stupa established by Kopan Monastery of Kathmandu in 1970 AD.
