MUDKHU - The bird hotspot.

Lying between Kathmandu and Nuwakot, Mudkhu is small place functioning like a bus stop with small tea shops and restaurants. Here, one can enjoy a stellar city view of Kathmandu as one waits for their transport to arrive. During your hike, Mudkhu can be a good spot to buy water, snacks and treat your growling stomach with an appetizing meal! Mudkhu is also known better as an entry/exit point of the Shivapuri Nagarjun national park. A small police post resides right next to the entry/exit point. However, it is important to note that there is no ticket counter here. Hence, one must get their tickets at the Fulbari gate before entering the national park and mark their departure at the main gate as well. P.S: You will also meet a lot of birds at Mudkhu.
