MALI - The forgotten stop

  • 1,930 meters

Mali is a small village with few tea shops. Once, Mali was a popular first-day tea stop for trekkers and locals coming from Jiri. However, after the earthquake things have changed, and Mali is left mostly with tons of broken memories and rubble.

If the weather is in your favor, you will be able to see the first glimpse of Numbur Himal from Mali. The markings from Everest Trail Ultra Marathon will guide you to Mali through green paddy terraces and curious cows.

Also, Mali is connected to Jiri by road so there are regular buses and jeeps coming to Mali from Jiri. You also can get tickets to Kathmandu from Mali.
