Himalaya is a basic two lodge affair. However, here you will be entering
avalanche prone area. While the chances of seeing one let alone being hit is
rather rare, you can never be too careful. Do not loiter around these areas
for photographs. We will let you know of avalanche gullies when you come close
to one. But basically avalanches share pathways with streams, so whenever
there is a stream or a waterfall, chances are very high that, it is also an
avalanche gully.
In the meanwhile, look for Himalayan Tahrs in the slopes to the west from here
onwards. Your chance of seeing Tahrs is especially high if there has been
recent snowfall in the upper stretches, or just come back in winter.
