GORAKSHEP - End of the lodges

    Gorakshep marks the end of lodges and will be your base camp for your trips to the Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar. The birdlife is surprisingly tame here and especially noticeable are the snowcocks and choughs. The place actually gets its name from a bird, the raven which is called gorak by the Sherpas.
