CHIWONG - Towering cliff and famous monastery

    Chiwong is a small village below a towering cliff. Some restaurants have been built on the side of the road and you will also find a beautiful prayer flags just above you to the right. From here you can pick two paths for your journey ahead. One path goes along with the road which will lead you to your next destination Ringmo. However, if you wanna take a detour to Chiwong Gompa (Chiwong Monastery) take the path that goes uphill from the side of the school.
