CHAURIKHARKA - Where old meets the new
- 2,645 meters
ChauriKharka means grazing grassland for yaks. And the village surely is built upon humongous grasslands. Once you get here, you will see more mules than humans, and perhaps even more prayer Wheels and Mani walls. This is quite a popular lunch stop for trekkers coming from Sete on their way to Phakding or Monjo.
At the end of Chaurikharka, there is a magnificent chorten and a big prayer wheel.
