Yak Horns

You must have seen yak horns in many chortens along the way. Well, these horns are offered for a better journey by the locals. The ritual often requires the yak horns to be filled with chaang (a kind of beer) and kept on chortens as an offering to the gods for a better journey. These horns often, also serve as props for some photographs. Remember, no stealing!
