Striped Blue Crow
Striped Blue Crow (Euploea mulciber) is a wildlife & flora sighting recorded around Dhampus, Tolka, Landruk.
- Scientific name
- Euploea mulciber
- Category
- Wildlife & Flora
These are very distinct butterflies that come in dark brown color with white stripes on the underside of wings as well as on their thorax. This description is for the female mulciber, males have plain body with a purple tint in their upper side wing. Their wings are seen to be elongated at the tips with toothed edges and almost transparent wings like a veil or something. When it comes to being photographed, approach them when they are busy in their flower business and they won't deny you that shot. But keep in mind that they usually sit with their wing closed so patience is the name of the game here.
