Saturday Market

Saturday is a big day at Namche for if it weren't for Saturday, there would be no food on the table. The Farmer's market that convenes brings fresh supplies from the lower region as Khumbu by itself cannot support the demand. Go visit the market, it is a rather lively affair. If not for fresh vegetables or meat, you might be interested in dried yak-curd (churpi) or some other items. The market is also the reason why the trails leading to Namche is rather busy from Friday to Sunday.
