Red Circle

As soon as you start your climb from Jiri you realize that you are following something which comes in a pattern. The patterns of these circles are painted to ease the runners of Everest Trail Race. Organizers have marked the path with Red circles leading them in the right direction towards Lukla. Hence, making it also easier for travellers to navigate their way to the Lukla without getting lost. If there is the Red Circle, yes, that is the way. Except the trail between Bhandar and Taktor, these circles will follow you everwhere. However, in bhandar the trekking trail and runners trail seperate with each other.
