This insect makes itself hard to spot as it has a very strong and rapid flight. The forewings are colored in orange in the middle, black at the margins and a hint of blue at the bottom. Each forewing features a small eye. The hindwing is colored in a varying gradient color of blue and purple. These butterflies have very fine outlines and is seen with two distinct tail coming out of the bottom. All of this results in a camouflage that is perfect in a backdrop of a dead leaf.
