Nepal Comma
Nepal Comma (Polygonia agnicula) is a wildlife & flora sighting recorded around Dhikur Pokhari, Upper Pisang, Gyaru.

- Scientific name
- Polygonia agnicula
- Category
- Wildlife & Flora
As the butterfly bears the country's name, this rather rare species was first seen and noted from Nepal in 1872. This butterfly is distinctly seen to have flame like outlines with deep orange body. There are black marks observed all over its body and edges are highlighted as if by a marker. Along these edges, yellowish dashes are seen. And, if you were wondering about the comma in its name, it's because on the underside there actually is a "Comma" in the hindwing.
