From distance these plants look like small pieces of cauliflowers stacked up on some thick stems. It is when you move closer and see the umbrella like clusters of white flowers you realize that they are not cauliflowers after all. The stems are erect which gives the plants it's height of upto 150 cm and also gives rise to many smaller branches that bears the flowers. This plant can be used to cure cough and cold. An interesting story is that villagers believe this plant wards off evil spirits and so in Nepali is aptly named Bhootkesh. Bhoot means 'evil spirits' in Nepali.
