Likhu River

Likhu or Liku in the sunuwar language (Li- top, Ku-water) means Top (Hill) Water. Originating from the glacier Zurmoche on the southern slope of Likhu Chuli it stands out as one of the major sub-branches of Sapta Koshi River (the biggest river of Nepal). And if you are coming from Jiri, crossing the river will be your first step to the land of Sherpas.
