To the east of the Annapurna Massif is a mountain just under 7000 m. And no, this mountain is not named Annapurna East. It is Lamjung Himal (Himal translates to mountain in English), an area rarely visited, which fields up to Nepal's largest Gurung village of Siklish. The word Lamjung is derived from 'Lama-jong' which means castle of great Lama. This mountain accompanying Annapurna II and IV was first climbed by a British expedition within a span of 9 days. The first duo to step foot on the peak were Philip Neame and Dereck Chamberlain.
