This one is the closest that comes to the domestic cats as far as looks are concerned. With its long legs and comparatively short tail the Jungle cat has a very distinctive appearance. It's pale green eyes give it a coldly cruel expression and those upright ears make it seem like the cat knows all the plots being planned in Game of Thrones. Be careful of what you whisper in the presence of these cats. The color of its fur varies from sandy gray to yellowish gray, the tail is ringed with black towards the end and has a black tip. The paws are pale yellowish, black or sooty brown beneath. Jungle cats inhabit the drier and more open parts of the country, keeping more to grassland, scrub jungle, the reedy banks of rivers and marshes. The Jungle cat is frequently about at day but it is mostly active during mornings and evenings. Its movements are much like those of a small panther. Jungle cats prey on small mammals and birds. For its size, the cat is exceedingly strong and even has the ability to bring down larger preys. The kittens, however, are easily tamed and purr like a domestic cat when content.
