This is a common and widespread bird that is found hanging on top of your terrace door. So common are these birds that we reckon you guys might not be interested in knowing much about these clever little devils. Hence, let us try our hand at a rhyme (which usually fails) to describe this bird. Early morning watches each roosters impatiently foraging for corners where caterpillars and beetles brood. And return as the orange sky falls to the night star with hopes of roosting once again in a spirited mood. It was once said if a man eats it then I will feed on it too. It again said if a man steals then I will steal from them too. Then it said if a man can learn then I will learn too. For I am a house crow living among you, watching you and being you. And return as the days grow old on me to the falling star to roost, gilded but blue.
