The Hoary-bellied squirrels are brown with a hint of gold and their bellies are grayish white. These are the most iconic of the squirrels and they live in dense forests and are sometimes found around villages. They are particularly fond of oranges and can be found raiding orange groves. For its small size, the call of a Hoary-bellied Himalayan Squirrel is astonishingly loud. The nest or 'dray' of this squirrel is a collection of grass and sticks placed high up in a tree. What a place to lay down and relax!
