Common Sergeant
Common Sergeant (Athyma perius) is a wildlife & flora sighting recorded around Phedi, Dhampus, Kande.
- Scientific name
- Athyma perius
- Category

As the name suggests these flies are very common and have black and white bands on the upperside. The underside has similar bands to the above but the black bands are replaced by ochre yellow. Looks wise, it very similar to Bhutan sergeants. So try not to get confused between these two.
