This is a beautiful swallowtail butterfly found commonly in the Himalayans. This insect is found to be densely dark brown with a turquoise shade just below their forewings. These insects have a distinct tail that is long and have wavy hind wings marked by an eye. Both the sexes of this species are found to be similar. One of its favorite flowers is Buddleja or the Butterfly Bush where you can bet to find this peacock.
