Common Bushbrown

With one look at its picture, you know that this butterfly is definitely making some name with those circular rings. Both sides of the wings are muddy brown in color. The upper wings are seen to be darker brown with large ocellus (rings) on either side. And on the underside, numerous circular rings are noticed as you follow the edges. This description of these insects changes as dry season hits reducing the size of rings on the underside to minute dots. Their flight is weak and they are usually seen sitting with their wings folded.
