"You will never walk alone" has to be this plants motto as it seems to be a great fan of the football club and it's most celebrated legend. This plant is a densely branched thorny shrub (1.5 m tall) commonly found in the trail from Jomsom to Lo Manthang. The leaves are hairy and pinnately distributed in groups of 8 - 12 leaflets. Flowers are yellow and its insides are covered with cotton like white wooly hairs. The rootstock is conspicuous and much branched. Stem, leaves and flowers of this plant are used in tumors, cough and cold, indigestion and joint pain. While root paste is used in swelling, constipation and even as an appetizer. This plant is also used as fuel for fire during winter in houses and lodges to warm up interiors.
