Blue Admiral (Kaniska canace) is a wildlife & flora sighting recorded around Besisahar, Simalchaur, Khudi.
- Scientific name
- Kaniska canace
- Category
- Wildlife & Flora
This is the only sole species in this family. When you look at the outer wings, a light blue line is seen through the margin section. Other than that, the whole butterfly is colored black. On the underside, the insect is colored black with varying marks and stretches in wings. Being an admiral demands a certain respect which this butterfly fights to maintain. Any other butterfly that tries to come into the Admiral's territory is vigorously chased away.
