These guys are one of the most common toads of the Himalayas and are usually found up to 2,000 meters. They are highly adaptable and are found from mountain forests, streams and cultivation fields. At higher altitudes, these guys are replaced by the closely related Himalayan Toad (Duttaphrynus himalayanus). If you happen to trek between May and July you will perhaps hear their calls during the evenings and nights.
