Do you want to climb a big himalayan peak but don't want to break the bank?Well, give Annapurna IV a shot. Of the numeric peaks on the Annapurna range, Annapurna IV is easier to climb, although there are risks of avalanches. In May, 2012 rockfalls from Annapurna IV blocked the Seti river creating a temporary dam which caused a massive flash flood. In 1955, German expedition led by Heinz Steinmetz was the first to step foot on the peak of this massive chunk of rock and ice.
