Lying between Jarsing Pauwa and Kattike Bhanjyang, Aahalchaur is a small
forested area that you will see on your way to Nagarkot. The latter part of
the word, which is 'chaur' is a Nepali word meaning 'an open area'. Hence,
this place is simply a wide area mostly covered with the tall Pinus Roxburghii
trees. Here, you can take a few minutes to inhale fresh air and the aroma of
the local foods from small lodges as you imprint your footsteps deep into the
woods in this small pretty chaur!
