Bamboo
The name says it all
2,300 mAnnapurna Region
Bamboo is a destination in the Annapurna region of Nepal, at 2,300 m. HoneyGuide lists 50 sightings here.
The cane bamboo that starts to appear around New Bridge becomes such an
unmistakable feature round here that the place itself is called Bamboo. There
is a small shrine dedicated to a local deity at the southern end of the
village.
If you are interested in watching honey hunting, Trekking Guest House's lodge
owner is perhaps the best person to contact. He had even worked for the BBC
when they came to shoot Jimmy and the Wild Honey Hunters.
