Had the most wonderful time staying at Nirvana lodge both at the beginning and end of my three passes trek. Rooms are clean and comfy, staff is incredibly friendly and easy going, great location close to the center, quiet, great food, hot showers... could not speak more highly of this place! Thank you for the wonderful stay and hope to be back again one day!

Excellent location with beautiful views of the valley. We were made feel very welcome for our 2 night stay. Excellent food and advice for our trek! We're even going to return on our way back from Gokyo lakes! Highly recommended!

Friends and I stayed at Nirvana Home in November 2016--both at the beginning and end of our Three Passes Trek. We felt lucky to have found such excellent accommodation. The facility is both sparkling clean and newly constructed. Many rooms have a stunning view of Thamserku and Namche Bazaar through large windows. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Tshering went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. He is friendly and engaging, and his father, Mr. Kancha Sherpa, is a resource for anyone interested in the Khumbu. After coming down from the Renjo La, we couldn't wait to get back to Nirvana Home--the best teahouse I stayed at in six weeks of trekking in Nepal.

We really enjoyed our stay! The family that runs the place is so nice, and quite accommodating. The lodge is nearly brand new, very clean and has gas hot showers - which is always a treat!

We stayed at the Nirvana Home before and after our trek in November and we highly recommend it. Warm, good food, comfortable rooms and toilet/shower facilities, and great views of Namche are all here. Tshering and his family were so hospitable and friendly, we really enjoyed meeting them and staying at the lodge. If we ever manage to return to Namche, we will definitely stay at the Nirvana Home again. Overall, the best lodge we stayed in over a 24 day trek!

Nirvana Home...what a cosy and welcoming place! I spent 5 nights there: two for the acclimatization to high altitude and three more nights on the return journey after a two weeks EBC & Gokyo trek. This is the perfect place to stay with a warm common room, clean and confortable bedrooms, good and cheap meals, excellent atmosphere with an amazing family staff! They can also give you some importants tips for the trek...100% success, especially when you do it by yourself, without any guide. Priceless! If you go there, I definitely recommend it, you will feel like home, enjoying one of the best landscapes on earth! You can believe me! PS: Thank you again for the lucky scarf! See you then!

Fantastic place to stay. The views are beautiful of the surrounding mountains and most importantly it is located on the west side of the valley. Which means it receives the morning warmth of the sun. With luck you will have the great pleasure of meeting Mr Kancha Sherpa one the members of Sir Edmund Hillary & Tenzing Sherpa Everest Climbing team in 1953 who lives there. A true gentleman and amazing to hear his stories about the Everest climb. The hotel is top class and beautifully set out in local timber finish inside with great food. You will find a lovely smiling family run business that we enjoy so such and fully recommend to you.
