He is a gem of a guide. He was always kind, patient and helpful. He knew the trekking route well and always gave me a briefing the night before on how to prep for the next day and made sure that I ready for the next day. He has very good knowledge about the culture and natural treasures of the area. I could not have made the trek without his assistance over the hard bits especially Gokyo Ri and Cho La pass. He was very encouraging without being pushy and always listened to my needs and never made me hurry or uncomfortable with the pace. He took good care of me when I fell sick with gastritis and made sure I had proper medications and food. I would definitely request him to be my guide again when I return for another go in the region.
