Tashi Lakhang Gompa

This Nyingmapa sect monastery was founded in 1975 with a community of 35 monks and nuns. The whole gompa is painted red and you will need to find somebody to let you in. It has rather simple looking prayer wheels which are dark brown in color and different from the ones you have seen elsewhere. This is one of the two gompas in Syang; the other one is an Ani Gompa.
