Pema Namding Monastery stands as a welcome landmark to Kharikhola. At the entrance of the village, there is a beautiful gate, which is the entrance for this Nyingma Tibetian Buddhist monastery. Opened in 2008, this monestary was also an initiation of the Trulsik Rimpochhe of Thupten Choling Monestary. Standing on the top of the hill, it offers a wide range panaromic view while the prayers from monastery during dusk and dawn spreads the message of love and peace to the deepest corner of Khumbu.
