Nauche Monastery

While the town has moved on with its newer name of Namche, the village monastery still holds on to the old village name Nauche. It is also called Mani Lhakhang as the monastery was constructed where there used to be a Mani Wall. This monastery is located in the western part of town on the trail leading to Thame.
