This monastery is located at Narshang Phant above Khanti village and it will take about 15-20 minutes to get there. The monastery's main deity is goddess Nari Jyoba. The Thakalis here claim that the gompa is based on Bon religion of Buddhism it is regarded as the most important gompa in this region. Although based on Bon, this gompa is nowhere as close to other Bon gompas seen in Mustang. It is evident that this Bon gompa is not in its pure Bon form and a lot of adjustments have taken place. This monastery was once considered among the most prosperous lama monasteries of Thak Satsae region (region covered by Thakalis). The monastery was given a pagoda look of a Hindu shrine in 1975. Devotees perform Thii (ceremony of taking out Nari Jyoba and cleaning and worshipping with cow milk) on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday here.
