To the southern part of the Marpha village where the settlement is sparse lies Mamti cave. It is a small cave and inside the cave is a bronze statue of Padmasambhava with stone slates encrypted with Tibetan writings. The cave is open all the time and has steel steps to make your climb easier. Hop in for a cave experience on your way out of Marpha.
