- Location
- Sundarijal
- Altitude
- 1,389 m
Unlike other Ganesh temples, this temple does not have a nice, polished Ganesh statue. Instead, it has a stone that resembles an elephant's trunk. You can get there after you walk ahead from the Sundarijal Buspark for a while. Once you get to the water pipeline area, you can see two trails here. The left trail climbs up while the one that goes to the right will take you to the Ganesh Mandir. Ganesh is one of the most popular gods worshipped by the Hindu Religion. He is the god of success and wisdom and is worshipped before starting any work - be it starting a day, a business, or a new job! He is also worshipped before worshipping any other gods during a ritual. Because of this, commencing any work in Nepali is also called doing "Shree Ganesh." Go ahead. Push some bells and Shree Ganesh your journey.
