Just in front of the main temple of Muktinath you will find two small ponds considered to be holy. A dip in this pond will wash away your sins and wrongdoings; so they say. So, if you have any regrets over anything then might as well dip yourself in the pond and get over it. It will be particularly interesting during the winter season when the water reaches near freezing points. The only way to find out if the ponds are really holy or not is to jump in! And not to mention, no skinny dipping!
